From 30 May the CCCB will be presenting the exhibition “SOUVENIR. Martin Parr, Photography and Collecting”, an exhibition where Parr’s ironic view of tourism and his interest in the world of compulsive collecting give as a result a series of original photographs, with some rather bizarre touches.
The souvenir, a nostalgic reminder of a touristic experience and at the same time often a fetish object for collectors, assumes a key role in the work of Martin Parr.
Take part in SOUVENIR CROSSING at the CCCB. Bring a souvenir to enter free of charge.
You can take away any other souvenir from the collection built by visitors as a memento.
