This year Christmas is coming to us with the bitter taste of the crisis and the year we’re about to welcome in is not loaded down with good news either. Aware that we cannot stand on the sidelines of such a reality, at the CCCB we wish to make that quite clear. Perhaps, despite these being very tough times, we should send out a message of optimism.
This is why we asked the artist Josep Maria Rius (Joma) to design the Christmas Card for this year and Maria Padró Casas to produce it.
In this video Christmas card, Joma draws us the arrival of an infant new year that has just been born. This spreads a ray of optimism to make us feel a little lighter when going down this path that looks as though it will be tough and hard-hitting.
