Journalist and programmer at the intersection of contemporary culture, technology and social innovation.
Cira Pérez (Barcelona, 1977) holds a BA in Journalism (UAB), a postgraduate degree in international cooperation in cultural projects (UB), and an MA in Communication and Art Criticism (UdG). Her work involves conceptualising, developing and executing projects at the intersection of contemporary culture, technology, and social innovation.
Since 2002, she has combined journalism (Butxaca, GRR, Cultura/s) with the coordination and management of exhibition projects and cultural programmes in Barcelona (Centre de Cultura Conteporània de Barcelona, Mobile World Capital Foundaion), Berlin (Haus der Kulturen der Welt), and Amsterdam, where she is currently collaborating with the Waag Society.
