Carlota Broggi

Art Historian and Head of Touring Exhibitions at the CCCB.

Carlota Broggi (Barcelona 1970) graduated in History of Art from the UB and studied Museology at the École du Louvre, in Paris. Since 2011 she has worked in a network with international institutions to give impetus and growth to the projects presented at the CCCB. She has directed the production and coordination of projects touring to Madrid (Fundación Telefónica, Casa Encendida, Casa del Lector), Paris (Centre Georges Pompidou, Cinémathèque Française), London (Somerset House), Mexico (Centro Cultural Tlatelolco), Monterrey (Conarte), San Sebastian (San Telmo Museoa), Bilbao (Alhóndiga), Berlin (Martin Gropius Bau), Rome (Palazzo delle Esposizzioni), Singapore (Art Science Museum) and Buenos Aires (Recoleta), among others. Over the years she has also been responsible for the coordination and documentation of various exhibition projects at the CCCB. The most recent, in 2016, was the project co-produced with ZKM: The Thinking Machine: Ramon Llull and the Ars Combinatoria.
