Carlos A. Scolari

Carlos A. Scolari is Professor of Theory and Analysis of Interactive Digital Communication in the Department of Communication at Barcelona’s Pompeu Fabra University, where he coordinates the PhD in Communication (2018-2023). His research focuses on the new media ecology and media evolution, interfaces and transmedia narratives. He is principal investigator of the projects Transliteracy (EU H2020 Programme, 2015-2018), Transalfabetismos (Mineco, 2015-2018) and PLATCOM (MICINN, 2020-2024). His most recent books are Las leyes de la interfaz (2018), Media Evolution (with Fernando Rapa, 2019), Cultura Snack (2020) and La guerra de las plataformas (2022). In 2021 he released his first novel, La Gran Enciclopedia Argentina.
